USE OF ENERGY EFFICIENT AERATION SYSTEM
Aeration units are based on the principle of Venturi.
We have replaced existing blowers in a number of industries.
NOMINAL MAINTENANCE : They have least nominal moving parts.
Roots Blower has frictional parts and need lubrication. This decreases the efficiency of the system na dincreases maintenance cost.
Another problem with the blower is the aeration grid, at the bottom of the tank. Over a period of time the aeration grid gets choked by the flocs. This involves cost and also shuts wastewater treatment.
LOW ENERGY : The submersible jet aerator and Bugsy respectively consumes nominal energy (range 1.0 H.P to 2.0 H.P) and (75 watt to 200 watt) depending upon the flow rate,etc while ECO is operated by the existing pump and as such no additional energy is required resulting in tremendous power saving.
EASE IN OPERATION : These aerators ensures ease in operation. Our Treatment Plants are easy to operate and even a semi -skilled operator can easily manage it.
IMPROVED QUALITY OF TREATED WATER : The formation of micro bubbles, of less than 10 micron size, contributes towards a very high efficiency of oxygen transfer resulting in proper treatment of waste water.
USE OF MICROORGANISMS IN OUR TREATMENT SYSTEM
The proper treatment of the wastewater is based on the functioning of the microorganisms. The wastewater contains number of intrinsic microbes which are both beneficial and non-beneficial for treatment. When conditions are inimical they do not work effectively; the treatment plant fails. Also simply adding nutrients (process known as Biostimulation) like Urea, DAP, etc does not ensure beneficial and active microbes in the system continuing to be ineffective, giving undesired results and foul odour. Even today, most of the suppliers use old methods like putting cow dung etc in the MBBR tank to commission the treatment plants. As someone once said: There are no Free Lunches.
Biotech Services do not adopt these old methods as they are not only out dated but also do not ensure proper treatment of the waste water.
What is the importance of commissioning the
treatment plant
with Effective Microorganisms (EM) ?
We understand the importance of effective microorganisms (EM) for proper functioning of the treatment plant and so incorporate these into our treatment plant by pre-attaching them on the Fluidised media and dosing them while commissioning the treatment plant. Our microbes are aerobic and facultative, capable to biodegrade conventional organics including various complex and harsh pollutants like oil, phenol, chlorinated hydrocarbons, petroleum products, etc. found in the wastewater and treating in different formats of Effluent Treatment Plants.
On one side, the degradation capacity of our organisms is very high and on other side these organisms are facultative in nature and require less oxygen and hence better efficiencies of the wastewater treatment plant can be obtained. HOW SLUDGE REDUCTION IS ACHIEVED
The Effective Micro Organisms which are present in our treatment system degrades and effectively reduces the solids present in the wastewater to a large extent. Thus due to rapid degradation of Solids very less sludge is generated.Microbial predationAlso the process based on microbial predation by organisms such as metazoan and protozoa is also applicable for sludge minimizationBacteria are a food source for higher organisms, such as protozoa and metazoa. When one organism eats another the total amount of biomass decreases and the transfer to a higher trophic level of the food chain occurs. In this way part of the biomass and the potential energy is lost as heat and excretory products, which causes a reduced growth of biomass and lower sludge production.
